Identify and Treat the Cause

Naturopathic medicine is a unique application in primary healthcare that seeks to understand underlying and contributing factors for illness. The primary goal of naturopathic medicine is to address the root cause of dis-ease, versus simply treating or suppressing the presenting symptoms. Our licensed doctors use natural healing therapies and alternative medicinal prescribing to heal illness and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Our patients rely on our experience to discover how they can benefit from trusted natural treatments that have been in use for hundreds of years, as well as how to integrate state-of-the-art therapies with proven records of safety and success. As naturopathic physicians we are able to support and stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Natural substances and treatments are used to assist the body to strengthen from within. We view each patient individually as a whole and consider physical, emotional and spiritual well being while diagnosing conditions and developing appropriate treatment plans.
We try and educate our patients to improve their insights on what is “causing” their illness in order to move closer to their goals of wellness. Hilo Naturopathic Clinic has a large natural medicine pharmacy on site and offers in-house lab diagnosis. We consider ourselves a full service wellness clinic located in the heart of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. We invite you to inquire about your specific needs to see if we can help.
